A large number of blackouts are influenced by voltage instability directly or indirectly in the world, so voltage instability is given more and more attention. Despite a lot of research has been done in recent years, especially static voltage stability has come into being relatively mature theory, but voltage stability analysis for application in control center still has a series of problems to be solved, for example, the in-service contingency screening and ranking is one of the problems.
